Single-camera padel analysis with RF-DETR, TrackNet V3 and audio–visual hit detection

I’m building PadelOptic to analyse padel footage from a single camera. The video shows match analysis followed by individual stroke analysis. The match pipeline uses: • RF-DETR Nano for player and racket detection, with shirt colour and court side used to maintain player identities. • TrackNet V3 for ball tracking, fine-tuned on padel footage using labels filtered by confidence and motion consistency. • Homography and 3D court geometry to map positions onto the court and filter out-of-court detections. • Racket-contact audio matched with ball and player positions to detect hits.
