My finance team never leaves Excel, so Power BI sits in the middle both ways

Does your finance team refuse to leave Excel? Put Power BI in the middle instead of fighting it. Excel in: Every budget or forecast file gets an export tab. Same columns in every file. Save the files to one SharePoint folder. Power BI reads the whole folder. I take the version name from the file name, so a new version is just a new file. Excel out: Publish the model. In Excel, Data > Get Data > From Power Platform > From Power BI, and pick the model. Insert a table or a PivotTable. A table is great for static reporting. A pivot is great for quick analysis.
